Itinerary in Detail

Day One

Legendary Lodge, Arusha

Dining at Legendary Lodge

Fly into Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), where an owner guide will meet you. We handle your luggage and escort you to Legendary Lodge, an Arusha luxury boutique hotel.

Your adventure begins in this timeless sanctuary within the tropical gardens of a historic coffee plantation in the foothills of Mt. Meru, Arusha. Your garden cottage offers a secluded haven to readjust from long international flights and multiple time zones. Luxuriate in a 1-hour massage per person and relax fully in your African surroundings.

(1 night)
One Nature Nyaruswiga room
Your chartered flight is private to Serengeti’s Seronera airstrip. Our professional safari guide meets you and does a game drive to your remote camp, One Nature Nyaruswiga. All game drives are on your schedule, not ours, which we arrange the evening before.

Day Two

One Nature Nyaruswiga

Serengeti's Finest Romantic Safari

One Nature Nyaruswiga is a luxurious safari camp in the heart of Central Serengeti, located in the Nyaruswiga Hills. It’s home to a wide variety of wildlife and birds and close to the Great Wildebeest Migration as it passes through their plains.

One Nature offers 14 luxury safari tents. Twelve tents have one bedroom, and two have two bedrooms for families or friends.

Each has its own en-suite bathroom, indoor and outdoor shower, sitting area, and a private sundeck with unobstructed views of the open savannah.

You’ll spend six nights in this extraordinary luxury lodge. So, unpack and relax as your safari unfolds. Explore this vast Park at your own pace. Relax with a 90-minute massage in one of the finest bush spas upon arrival.

Day Three

Private Safari in the Serengeti

Hyena scaring off vultures

Your private Serengeti safari guide is top-notch and one of the most experienced in Tanzania. He will show you an insider’s view of Serengeti’s ecosystem. It’s a photographer’s paradise, from birds to elephants.

Serengeti balloon safari

Drift above the inspiring landscape on a private balloon safari.

As the sun rises with golden hues over the savannah, sour into the sky to photograph the wildlife below, creating memories long remembered.

After your flight, Serengeti Balloon Safaris serves sparkling wine and a full English breakfast in the savannah. If you spot wildebeests crossing the Mara River from above, let us know where, and we’ll head that way once we pick you up.

Day Four

Private Balloon Safari

Day Five

Birding in the Serengeti

Flock of flamingo

Birding in the Serengeti is richly rewarding, with over 500 bird species. They nest in the long grass of the savannah, shrubland in the hills, and riverine forests. Many are rare, like the kori bustard, secretary bird, bateleur eagle, and lesser flamingo.

Photograph antelope in their natural habitat, stop next to a curious giraffe or watch a leopard drag his kill up a tree

Private dinner in the bush at One Nature Nyaruswiga

Savor a private dinner by candlelight, alone, or with your wedding party. Delight in the warm glow of lanterns and sundowners around a crackling fire as you dine on cuisine prepared with passion and expertise.

Maasai warriors, known as moran, keep an ever-watchful eye on the bush while you dine, as the bush comes alive in the gathering dusk. A lion’s hunting grunts and a leopard’s sawing cough ramps your adrenalin while sipping premium brandy. And the hyena laughs.

Day Six

Private Dinner in the Bush

Day Seven

Explore the Wilderness

Walking safari on the Serengeti

Traverse the vast landscape guided by safari experts who unveil the secrets of plant and animal kingdoms.

Feel the earth beneath your feet and the gentle breeze as you witness wildlife in its habitat. Gain an understanding of the delicate ecosystem that sustains life and appreciate the sheer magnificence of nature’s untouched beauty.

Mnemba Island banda

The morning’s game drive returns you to Seronera’s airstrip. We arranged for a private, chartered flight to Stone Town on the north shore of Zanzibar via Dar es Salaam Airport, where you’ll be met by a representative of &Beyond.

After arriving at the crossing point, a boat transports you to Mnemba Island.

This private island has a forest, white sand beaches, and endless coral reefs. The island is an exclusive barefoot island paradise, and it’s one of the few places where you can snorkel straight off the beach to reefs.
